Vignettz is a map full of real stories — pinned to the exact spot they happened. Find them. Add your own. Some you can only unlock by actually showing up.
No spam — just one email when Vignettz is live in your city.
Google Maps tells you a place's rating. Vignettz tells you what actually happened there — the real, human, sometimes chaotic stories that make a spot mean something to someone.
Every story is pinned to exact coordinates — where someone met their spouse, where something unforgettable went down, where the whole neighborhood used to gather.
Some stories are previewable from anywhere. Others only play once you're standing in the actual spot — the app rewards being there, not just scrolling.
Anyone can record and pin a story. Over time, every neighborhood builds up its own layer of lore, left by the people who actually live it.
Explore a custom map of story pins near you, color-coded by category, or search for a vibe — "romantic," "funny," "spooky."
Preview what a story's about, then get routed to the exact spot it happened. Some are a block away, some across town.
Press play once you've arrived and hear it in the place it happened. Then record your own and add it to the map.
Down the line, Vignettz will let trusted locals string their stories into multi-stop audio tours that people can pay to unlock — think a self-guided walking tour, but told by someone who actually lived it instead of a script.
This isn't open yet — we're building it. Join the waitlist above and check "notify me about creating paid tours" to get early access when it launches.
